Tell me why men are forgiven women are not?

I was at home when a couple came to me for an assistance, being a friend to them, i always fas the oppurtunity to meddly things among them. According to the wife said that her husband always jealous and throw fist of anger at her whenever he sees her talking to a man. She however said that she always renain faithful to him against all odds, but she never know that her husband has been cheating on her. She added that nemesis caught up with him when she caught him in an hotel romancing a lady where she (the wife)has gone to on a marketing research as she is working with consultancy firm. But she went to the hotel a colleagues of hers(a man), but her husband took the opportunity to accused her of trysts while he is the one that should be ashamed of himself. The point now is that her husband is not willing to forgive her. Please advise what should she do, because she does not want to leave her matrimonial home
