Off late lot of people started switching their secondary mail IDs (considering the primary as their official ID) from MSN to gmail. What could be the reason ? I know at least 234 people who have switched their IDs. Is MSN loosing its popularity to gmail or its just the new entrant craze ?

Gmail offers a better email service in my opinion, but I still have both. In fact, I have two of each, because I use them for different things. But I'd definately get a Gmail account over a Hotmail account now. Though I'd be keeping my Hotmail account so I can continue to sign on to MSN and talk to my family and friends.

Yes that would be one plus point to gmail. the larger storage and search facility are always there in gmail which makes MSN little goofy. But MSN messenger is still quite popular I guess.
