Hi friends. I want to share one incident which i faced a year ago and tell me what would you do if such a thing happened with you? I had my entrance examination for engineering, and it was from 9:30 am to 12:30 am and the examination hall was 2 hrs way from my house. So I had to leave my house at 7 in the morning. Also no shops in my area were open ,so I thought I'll buy a pen after reachin there. I reached there by 8:50 and i searched for a general store and I found one. I asked him to give me a pen and I gave him a 50 Rs note. The pen was of 8 Rs. He gave me only 2 Rs back, I said where are the rest 40 Rs, so he gave me a confused look and told me that I gave him a 10 Rs note and not a 50 Rs one. I was shocked and thought what should I tell this dumb person, I had no proof ,obviously and then the argument began. I also told him to check in his cash-box whether there was any 50 Rs note there or no? He checked it and there was one, so I pounced on him telling him that ,that is what I gave. He also had two 20 Rs note and one 10 Rs note and he told me that " I'm running a store and I need to have money, so this 50 Rs note is mine and not yours" ,with those words I became helpless and already I had spend 20 minutes there ,so I was left with no other choice but to take the pen and 2 Rs. I left the shop in a very angry mannar and my whole mood spoilt because of that. Tell me friends what would you do at such a time? in a similar situation, how would you get your money? when you are damm sure that you have paid 50 Rs note and not 10 Rs one. Waiting for your replies...

the first thing that u should have done was buying pen few days before your examination, not on your way to the examination. always watch the cash register when paying for your stuff. u don't have any proof to say that was your 50 Rs. u we're in a hurry, nervous that u might be late for your exam, u might have given him 10 Rs instead of 50 Rs. I don't see any polite way to ask the money from him, so just let this incident be a lesson learnt for you...

thank you for that dear but my question still remains unanswered, i.e what would you do if you know that you had given him Rs 50 and still he refuses to accept that even though there is a 50 Rs note in his cash-box ,which you are 100% sure, is yours. Tell me how would you deal with that one??
