Nuclear North Korea

I am not really into politics, especially on a global level. However, I do not see how North Korea having the same technology that many other countries in the world have had for decades would make us any more or less inclined to have a nuclear war. In fact, with the advances in technology and bio-warfare, I would be more worried about that at the present time than a nuclear war. If we did have a nuclear war, though, then I do not think that the world would survive it. I think that is what has kept us from using this kind of warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan, although I could be wrong about that.
