With the fall of the Soviet Union, the liberalization of China, and the immenant demise of Fidel Castro, I have been wonderring if Communism is dead, or if it has simply gone underground? Is the Marxist dream still alive? Does the great revolution continue? What do you think?

It may not be as popular, but Communism, like every other system in the world, will still have it's believers. As long as there are believers, there will always be a cause.

I think there will be a form of Communism somewhere in the world.I don't see it as popular as it was when the Soviet Union was around.Isn't North Korea still a communist country.

Soviet Union, China, and Castro never followed Marx to any serious degree, they just followed the ideals that fit their agendas. The revolution is still continuing, but it has gone more into the hearts and minds of those who believe, true communists aren't likely to trust another dictator after so many have subverted Marx's dreams.
