Yesterday I had a star rating of 9. And I answered some posts in a thread about abortion. I gather a lot of people didn't agree with what I wrote and gave me negative ratings, which isn't what those ratings are supposed to be used for. Nothing I wrote was trivial or abusive. I simply wrote some things that people who are anti-abortion might not agree with. This is probably the reason I lost some of my earnings as well. When we signed up, there was an FAQ that specifically states that disagreeing with someone is NOT a reason to give a -. So I don't know what the heck is going on here.

Everybody has their own opinion so i dont know why people give (-) to members if they dont agreee to what they are saying. The only time i give a (-) is if the user was disrespectful but other thant i normally rate people with + epecially if they took the time out to respond to my discussion.

Unfortunately there are some people out there who seem to think that because you hold a different point of view, they will rate you a neg. It might not be a good reason, and against the rules, but short of reporting this to admin, I doubt if there is anything else you can do but ignore it. (hug)
