Well I made the first step toward exercising

I still haven't got to the gym but now I am ready. I have an IPOD shuffle. It is so cute as you can see from the picture. It took me awhile to figure it out but I did. Now I got music and I am ready for the gym. I still don't know why I need 125 songs to work out to.

walk not run. I would die if I ran. I have to lose over 100 pounds.

No harm to start with walking. Then gradually increase your pace. ;-) PS.: Thanks for best response! ^^

Well, all it takes is one step. Congratulations to you dear. Take me with you, will you? All I do is sit and lay because of this foot, and I have gained 15 pounds.

I started exercising last night but I didn't need my music because I swam laps. Boy did it feel good.

Maybe this is what I need for exercising. I am never very motivated to exercise. I used to walk for about 20 minutes, and that was a bit helpful, but I need to do more.

I know for me my weight at this stage is critical. I am finding it harder and harder to do things.

Oh Linda this does sound encouraging. I am going to pray you make it to the gym and have a wonderful time with your Ipod - hey just think, with 125 songs you can get a really really good workout and not repeat songs :) am wishing you luck, I need to do the same. Our church has a workout room I could go for free - I just don't seem to have any motivation. I need to find a dedicated friend who would go with me.

My husband is going to babysit my granddaughter and my daughter is going to be my workout buddy.
