I just heard on the today show that mothers can be jealous of their daughters. Is that possible? I would think that a mom would be proud of her daughter and want the best for her. I would like my daughter to have a better life than I. Please give me your opinion.

oh sure! It shouldn't be that way, but knowing human nature, it doesn't surprise me. Mom is getting older.. daughter is still fresh and pretty.. maybe daughter has better opportunities than mom did.. It's very sad! Envy is known to be painful! Gut eating.. Not good for the person with it, and they should try to say no to it.. and replace it with affection.. and practice makes perfect, like with anything else..

I think mothers are just like anyone else, there are good ones and there are bad ones. I'm like you I think a good mother would be proud of her daughter and want the best for her, and without jealousy.

Moms are still humans; they too can feel jealous and show up some emotions as imperfect human beings. Well, there's nothing wrong with jealousy between mothers and daughters as long their respect for each other still remain. Mothers may not actually be jealous at times; they were just conscious of their figure upon looking at their daughters' sexy attributes.lol. Mothers are the best in the world. Peace out.
