Is there anyone else out there that thinks Ebay is just greedy? Their fees are just so high, by the time you have paid to list your item and then they have taken their percentage from the sale you are left with hardly nothing! Then theress Paypal...suprise suprise an Ebay company that takes a percentage when buyers pay you this way and then they take a fee for you putting your money in your bank account...!

100% yes, they charge you even if you do not sell anything at all, unlike Amazon who only charges when the item has sold and been paid for. If I am selling my books Amazon is definitely the place for me. While I think Ebay is only good if you are selling big ticket items.

I definitely think they are too high. I list stuff and they take a bit cut of everything.. and then you have to pay the Paypal fees on top of it..its a big ripoff. It should be free or they should just charge either the listing fees or the final value..not both! but people continue to buy and list so why should they change? It would take a substantial number of their sellers and buyers to stop listing..but a lot of people make their livings there and cant stop, they'd lose too much money.

In a way yes I do because when you don't sell an item you STILL must pay the fees.
It really isn't fair. I think it should be free.
