Is it just me but aren't those "Say no to cigarettes" commercials horrible?

Have you seen the new ones about "Passing Gas" and it's in reference to smoking. The only good thing I can say about them is that they show that the smoker is considerate and willing to go away from the non-smokers. The rest is laughable if not down right silly. Between those and the "Truth" commericials I think it might cause just the opposite reaction. Many are going to want to smoke just because people are lecturing to them or exaggerating situations in order to drive their point home. They don't change my mind at all and I doubt they would for anyone.

those commercials only seem to come on when I am lighting up or taking a pull..that has to be a sign..they creep me out but they really aren't affecting me enough to just quit..have you guys seen the one with the cowboy guy with the hole in his throat singing?

i'm a smoker.. granted yes Im planning on quitting at the end of the month. But those truth commericals lol i laugh at them.. when I was in my teenage years I would say HAHA makes me wanna smoke another cigg and I would lite one up. Now that im a bit older and wanting to quit they make more sence to me. But honestly I would think they would make people want to do the opposite, like it did to me.

I right along with you. Those cigeretter commercials they have out now are actually funny. One of those kinda of "scratch your head" and wonder why!! I believe no matter how many people suggest, protest, or whateva if a person smokes they are going to continue to smoke until "THEY" are ready to stop.
