I think you should have starter classes. I'm sure you have some kind of plan already. But I would definetly offer creative things like maybe not only just cooking but baking. Simple baking like rice crispy treats and the like. I'm sure they can cook spagetti. It would be fun to cook with colorful noodles. Makikng pancakes would be really fun, especially making faces or whatever with toppings. I hope for great success for you!

patience being fun and make yourself be intresting that they would look forward to every class you have its not much like the ones giving advice above me but i think that would help in reminding you. Also have lots of ingredients in stock kids mess up sometimes when cooking

I just wanted to say that I think this is a great idea! There are so many different ways that children of all ages can be included in the kitchen, and from my experience, I know that they are usually all too eager to help. I would suggest have classes for toddlers all the way up through puberty, but of course the necessary steps would be different. For example, a toddler does not necessarily care about finishing the cake, they are more interested in the work of pouring the flour. Expect huge messes, but that would be the best part for them! There are so many sensory experiences that a toddler can learn with food!

thank you! this is such a big idea. i'm alloting at least 1 year of planning. i will graduate from my course (FLCD) on October. I do feel that i am equipped with ways in dealing with children. I chose a cooking school because i love cooking as well. :) yeah, i want toddlers in the kitchen! a lot of learning can be implemented in the kitchen.
