John Edwards Vice Presidential canidate for John Kerry...

I am saddened on a person to person level...it is never nice to hear that someone is ill...but it really doesn't affect me personally as I don't know her. Sad, maybe a little rude, but true. I guess I am just wondering why it is such breaking news and all over the media when she has cancer when thousands of other people are diagnosed with cancer every minute of the day. Just my thought.
