Usually DAD love his daughter than his son..MOM love her son than her daughter

I feel guilty answering this topic. I hate playing favorites. Point is, my daughter's really a daddy's girl. She lives with me but it's obvious that, if she has a choice, she'd prefer living with her Dad. I really don't understand why all my effort is always short at it's best. We're close but it's never enough to keep her. Not even the "little somethings' I get for her. Regardless how many times I'd play the fool so she can work her way with me, she will still leave me behind for a chance to be with her Dad. My son,on the otherhand, would never leave or trade my love for anything. One time, I had a fight with my daughter because she wouldn't review for her exams. She insisted on staying with her Dad. Against my heart, I called her Dad and have her picked up. I cried everyday thereafter. The nights were most painful because I got used to sleeping between them. I felt sad and empty. Suddenly, the house seemed too big for me and my son without her around.. without the shouting schemes when she fights with her brother. I missed the noise. I knew my son felt my emptiness when he came up to me and say "Mom, I promise not to leave you". He never did. He'll always insist on coming home to me at night when he's out with his Dad. I didn't have to say the words, but he always says"I love you too, Mom!" I never play favorites. But if I should, it's gotta be my son!
