I Get Replies From 2-3 Specific Friends None Other........Is It With You Also?

I did feel that way when I was still pretty new here and got only a couple of friends on my list.. but as I continued being active here in mylot and tried posting quality discussions and responses, my friends list grow to swell and so does my discussion responses. So I guess you should try to gain more friends...and of course, you should post discussions which would somehow catch the attention of the other members here... :P but don't worry too much, coz like you, I do have some discussions which only got less than 10 responses...well, I just take it like maybe that didn't appeal to most of my friends' interest that's why they didn't respond. :P

I know exactly how you feel. Also when I post a discussion I hardly get any posts. I can only rely on a few friends to posting a response on them. From those friends I try to respond to their discussions too. Anyway, I try not to make so much of it. Remember just keep on posting!:)

Well...I'm guessing that you're quite new here still. How many friends do you have in your list? I'd suggest that you go around for a few hours and add more friends into your list. People like me, we tend to look at "Discussions that my friends started" before we look at anything else to reply to. Good luck! *hugs*

I think there are a lot of people who treat it like fishing. Bait the hook and drop the line to see what they catch. Never replying to any discussions. They will never make money that way. You have to do some networking and a little bit of diplomacy will help too. I normally reply to my friends discussions. Some respond to mine. Those that don't... do not get anything from me.

Hehehehe hahahaha Now you will think this guy is crazy . Arey baba I'm laughing on myself . can't stop smiling , You are cute guy. I respond to your discussions as you reply to mine. I have got some 135 friends on mylot and there are only 7 of them whom I can rely on any time or any topic. Rest are there to just enjoy and take benefit . I Will delete them in may be one week or 15 days. I'm suffering from same problem .But anyway you can trust me to reply your discussions till time I'm on mylot.

I'll get active in some days as i am not free from studies these days. They bug me alot but i'll sure to be getting active in week or so. I'm still learnig about mylot except from wha you told me. I wanted to know about the users here. Plus i'll reply to your discussions as soon as i'm active and do reply to mine too.

try getting some more friends to your list,this way your friends will help you out by responding to your discussion.an you do the same for them.an start a discussion that you think alot of members can relate to.but this has happen to me also an im sure to alot of other members so dont feel bad.

I have had the same problem also. Mylot has so many discussions being created constantly that unless your topic strikes up pretty quickly it will probably soon become long forgotten. Don't worry about it. Just keep starting discussing and eventually you will hit on one that people want to talk about. Also, you should make sure that there isn't already a discussion started on that topic, because many people will give up on saying the same things over and over again.

I think the thing to do is reply to lots of different people in lots of different interests and you will start etting more replies to your own discussions. That's my method. And sometimes, it's just luck and where you are in the global time zone.
