Here's an idea for myLot! Messages from people requesting to be your friend.

It would be very helpful if myLot included a place where people could leave you a short message when they request addition to your friend list. I never know where people get my name from to request my friend list. If they had an obligatory message field, people could write in something like: I like your discussions, or I see we have some interests in common, for example. How about it myLot?

Hey, I think this is a fabulous idea! May I suggest you drop this suggestion via message to myLot and see what they say. Hopefully they will look into it and implement it some day. ;-)

Good idea and it will help to some extent to filtyer out the people who blindly send friend requests. If I get a request with a note saying "I like your views on the discussion about music and we seem to like the same kind of music", I'll tend to accept it easily!

I've thought the same thing and I think it's a great idea. I don't normally add people all too often, but when I do, I know I'd like to add a little message explaining WHY I want to add them as a friend. I'd also like a little message from others stating why they want to add me as a friend. I wonder if many people would even use that feature, though. Hmmm...

I really think they would, and I do think it should be an obligatory field to fill in a message when you request someone to add you.

I've had the same thought. You might want to send a suggestion to myLot.

That is a GREAT idea. I spend too much time searching their discussions and responses trying to figure out why they want to be my friend.

From my experience, you will earn more by starting your own discussions. Have fun here.
