Do you maintain a Library in your house based on ur Interests.

I do maintain a Library of books based on my interests and i dint even let one book lose which ever i brought in my school days. I do have a good collection of all Information Technology books since i am into it for more than 7 Years now. Coming to my other interests i do have a good collection of books which i myself prepare which include my favourite Cricket pics and All the history related to him.
I do have a collection of novels and i go through them now and then. As of now i am done reading all those books atleast once.
What about u all do u maintain a library of do u lend them when ever u feel like reading some thing?

I too have got a small collection of books.It contains some story books which i got it as prize frommy school, college, some college books, a dictionary, some english grammer books, a hindi story book and 1 Indian economy books.
I love to read children story books & got most of them in my shelf.I read it again and again whenever i get time.My favourite is Malgudi days by author R.K.Narayanan.

Wow, you sure must be RICH to do such a thing!
I only buy books to support my favorite authors when the books come out. That's that... to have a LIBRARY in your house, you need MONEY for the books and SPACE to put them. :P

Yes, I love books! I have three shelves of books in our living room and then other books in little piles.. on the desk, by the desk.. on tables.. Yes, I am crazy about books.. Mostly information books.. history, science, condensed encyclopedias.. gardening.. religions.. etc.. and then mysteries and thrillers.. I usually find the info books on the internet.. and I want new books to read I go to yard sales or thrift stores.. as I tend to return library books late.. and it just nags at me, sometimes for a week or two til I get them back..

Yes, I do have a collection of books from my interest at home. Though I can not say it a library, but I can well say it as my 'personal-library' or 'study-collections'. I feel myself very happy as well as mentally lifted, when I find myself among them! Do you feel such or not? Usually I do not lend any book to others as this carries the risk of missing or not returning to me. I am very strict about maintaining my collections always. Thanks.

Good that you don't lend them. I do feel special about my books and not my mom who have to take care of the shelves, as i stay away from home all my childhood books and all she should make sure that they don't get worn out. Thanks for responding.

I maintain a library in my bedroom. I have a specific spot to put many of my books, in there you can see encyclopedias, dictionaries, school books, plain books, favorite books, series books. All of them in there. Unfortunateley I've lost a couple of books because I let my friends borrow from my collecetion. But I've already restrict the borrowing of books from my collecetion. SO as not to lose any more.

First of all i love your picture,and if is your house you are lucky!!
As about books i have myself around 2000 books and i stopped buying books from few years a go ,and to be clear from i start to find all information for free in internet...
So i have my own library in my home but i find internet library more good...
