How do i get my star rating up??

Just post something that people like... I have no idea why my number all of a sudden went up to 8!? It just did... I don't really care though, it dosen't mean anything when you think about it.

It seems that the star rating can drop quite rapidly but rising takes longer. The star isn't based on a certain number of posts, some that hit 100 are immediately a 10. The thing that determines the stars is the way other members perceive your posts and responses and how they rate them. Quality seems to be determined by the length of a post or a response. When responding remember to stay on topic. The more in depth your response the more likely you will be to get a "+" rating. Stay away from 1 or 2 line posts as either people will rate it negatively or not at all. Same with starting discussions don't post 1 liners. With the information that has been given to your discussion if followed should have your star rising in a short period of time. :)
