I have an Acer TravelMate 8204WLMI, it's worth Considering it's a very good Laptop, It come with an Intel Core "Duo Processor, 2.00 GHz, has 1 15.4 TFT Widescreen, an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 Graphics with 512 Hyper memory 100 GB HardDrive, DVD Double Layer Drive, 1GB memory, with wireless, Blutooth, 5- memorycard reader. and Can also play top Games. It's a very good machine, but the one I brought was a bit on the expensive side for about $3000, but I don't regret spending the money, also comes with 3 year warranty.

I have an Acer and I like it because the customer support is good.I didn't have to turn to them often, but the few times I did, they responded very promptly.I have heard that HP is also very good and has a great customer support online.I went with Acer because a friend of mine recommended it and he deals in laptops.

i like the unique design of apple laptops but it's just that its too heavy on th pocket so i can't afford to buy even any of each brands of the laptops and so i am still using my home buddy -personal computer which is a very good one in helping me finish my projects. :)

Thank you for your input. I have thought that I need to try out the keyboard as I am trying to makeup my mind. I am glad you have gotten so many years of use from it.

I love iMac computers and its products. Not only the technology but the shape and colour sceme about them made my head always spin when I see one of them on display in shops.
I have iMac, but the problem is they are not really compatible with windows and their software is much more expensive compares to windows. So, I decided to have also windows computer next to imac. I'm using HP brand laptop at the moment. I can't say it's the best brand though but I'm not complaining yet...

I have a desktop PC and a Mac iBook Laptop. I love my Mac sooo much. The only problems with a Mac is that a lot of the programs that you're accustomed to on the PC are not yet available for the Mac. It stinks, but Macs are made to work and I've put mine through the mill and it never funks out on me!
But for a PC laptop, I agree. The Song Vaio are VERY NICE!

1. For office / home user, I suggest HP with Celeron M processor ( mid end ) or Centrino Core Solo processor ( high end ). 2nd options would be TOSHIBA
2. For Graphics / Audio / Gaming user, I would suggest SONY VAIO or ACER FERRARI.
3. Try compare the price at pricegrabber.com for finding the cheapest product.
