I agree with what you have typed above. I have learned that your childhood is limited. What I really missed about my childhood was the simple, clean, "no-worrying" lifestyle that we all had. No concern for school grades (as in competing against others for high school and college seats and such)and to go though life as something out of a dream and not face reality when we didn't have or want to. It seems we all take our childhood for granted. To me, I was too late to notice how special me childhood really was before one day, it was over.

I mis shaving good friends. Seems like once you grow up, you and everyone else around you loses time for other people. Work, families, responsibilities all get in the way and it bums me out. I also miss being able to do whatever I want. Staying outside playing all evening, playing in the woods, reading a whole book in a day because I had all the time in the world to do it. responsibilities are a bummer. : )

I miss all those free time to play all day long… I miss the fun I get from running around and all the energy I used to have back then. I miss the friendships and the bonding. I miss playing out all day in the sun and all day long when it rains. I miss the birthday parties that I used to have, for a day I feel like I'm a celebrity- I miss the gifts I used to receive during those days specially. I miss how I used to appreciate little things such as candy or a lollipop. I miss the fact that when I was young- grudges are easily resolved by a hug and a tootsie roll. I miss that when I was young- wounds are easily be healed by a band aid. I miss being free and having not to worry about money- I miss the fact that I don’t give a care about money!... I miss that I can be excused for a lot of things because I was a child… I miss the fact that school was the only thing I worry about. I miss holidays and Christmas when I was a child….oh my.. I lost track.. lol… bottom line.. I miss a LOT in my childhood.

I miss the lack of responsibility and being a student. I miss my parents being healthy and active. I miss the time I used to spend hanging out with my friends. I think most importantly though, I miss the innocence of believing in things like Santa and the Easter Bunny...

To tell you the truth, I really miss going to school. It was seeing friends, learning, sports, girls and all of that. And if I had to do it again, I would definately try harder! lol

Yes, I do. i miss going to my grandparents house and getting into trouble with my cousins and other sisters.(smile) those were the days, we are all grown up and so busy that we hardly talk, and my grandparents are passed, so sometimes it hurts to know that these things have passed and there is no going back, except in your dreams. Glad for memories.
