There are two variants. "Mate amargo" is sour, but if you add sugar to it you have "mate dulce", which is liked best by women. Mate is a word of southamerican indians origin. It's a traditional drink in Uruguay (highest consumption of "yerba mate" per capita), Argentina, south of Brazil, south of Chile and Paraguay (though in this country is drunk cold, what is called "tereré"). There is not an english translation for the word.

Water. Bottled water. I take a few medications that make me thirsty, and I am constantly in need of a beverage. Because the medication makes tap water taste like metal, I go for the bottle water, the bigger the better. I will have a Coke every other day, but water has become my friend. Which is good because it helps you keep weight off, flushes out toxins, and purifies your skin.

I have heard that also..about medications..I don't take any ..so I never had that experience.. I imagine it's burdensome to always be thirsty..:(+

I drink iced tea most, followed by plain old water.

Plain old water..I hope..it's not too old??;)
Water is really good for you..but even too much water can be bad..have you heard this? Only recently I heard on a special on Tv that it can flush out important minerals and nutrients when over done..sigh...Even water is bad for your health if not careful..wow.

I usually drink soda or mango juice. I like to drink soda because it invigorates my nerves and make me active again. Also, I drink mango juice because it's so sweet and I feel like I'm floating on the air. It's so healthy too. Both beverages always provide me new strength and new smile. Try them too.

I drink water more than any other beverage in a day. I also like to drink a lot of milk as both are very healthy for us and helps keep the weight off. Water is definitely the drink that I have more times in a day than anything as I am trying to watch my health and stay fit.

I mostly drink water especially when I'm here at home. And when I'm outside, it is soda, shakes, milk anything on hand. (^^,LOL^^,)But I can't end the day without any hot beverage especially before sleeping. And by the way, vitamin C is easily flushed away by water. That's the reason why we need a supplement of vit. C when you have the flu. Because you drink a lot of fluid to loosen up the "you know", hemhem *coughing*.. And coffee and tea are antioxidant/anti-aging, they say but do not exceed 3 cups a day, because it would be too much. Hope I said it right. And I haven't said anything wrong too. Have a nice day!

For me the drink that I drink the most of is H20(water). I am always carrying a water bottle with me throughout the day. It drives my husband crazy b/c pretty soon there is a water bottle in out office, two in the living room, one in the kitchen, one in the dining room, one in our bedroom and even one in the bathroom.

You should just have a faucet put in every room:) and just have a glass at each station..Water is good..but even a good thing can be bad..I heard that it has been found to be detrimental to heart failure patients..if taken in too great a quantity.:)+
