Some of my favourite times in elementary school was when the teacher would read aloud stories to us. I used to love chapter books and couldn't wait the next day to find out what would happen next. Some of my favourite books were
"Little red riding hood"
"james and the giant peach"
"The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever"
"Ramona The Pest"
"Cinderella"
"Heidi"
what are your favourite elementary books?

I feel the same way. In elementary school, storytime was one of my favorite parts of the day. Do all teachers pretty much read the same books? Because a lot of your favorites are mine, too. I would add Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Charlotte's Web, as well.

Some of my favorite times were also when they read to me. I don't remember the elementary books but weirdly I remember some pre-elementary books I loved like "the rainbow fish" and "the very hungry caterpillar". This last one was my favorite. Wait, I was thinking it over right now, and I do remember fourth grade especially. I used to love "Tuck Everlasting" and the first serious reading that I did was "Anne of Green Gables" and "Anne of Avonlea". I fell in love with reading with these books.
