Apart from defragmenting your hard disk, what else do you do in order to free up disk space? I just discovered crap cleaner and I think it's really a great software. What about you?

I get rid of files I no longer need or use and uninstall programs that I have either downloaded or bought that I don't use or have stopped using. I burn my photos onto CDs or other files I don't really use but still need to keep. I make sure I empty out the recycle bin. Little things like that help out. I have never heard of crap cleaner. What all does it do?

I do basically the same thing if I haven't used something within a month or two then I uninstall it. I uninstall things I have disks to that I can reinstall at will. I use my defrag after I uninstall alot of stuff. I have a old computer and it uns slow so with stuff downloaded on it makes it run super slow even with 83% o my disk free it is still slow. I got a newer one but got it home and found out it doesn't have a modem. It was set up for DSL. So now I have to save to get a modem.

Cleaning your cumputer is a very important thing to do regularly. I usually get rid of my old emails, files that I don't use anymore. Also software that I don't use.
I have never heard of "crap cleaner", is it free? Thank you.

Huh, that's an interesting name to a software. I've never heard of it before. But then, I always delete everything in the recycling bin, delete temporary internet files, etc. I don't need any software to do it for me.

I've tried to delete temp files, stuff in the recycle bin etc also before I discovered this software. I thought I had it taken care of. But when I tried this software, just imagine my shock when it freed up 250 MB for me! I was really astonished at all the "crap" it found hehehe. Even spywares and bots were found and of course I erased them all.

Yes you are right such software is very important to clean up the computer. We all know and that when we surf the Internet we get a lot off unwanted and unnecessary files being downloaded to computer. Not only does it takes a lot of memory from a hard disk but also it tends to slow down the performance of a computer. So it is always a good option to use such software is in clean up the unnecessary files and disk space so that the computer can work faster. The fragment is a good option but it is not that effective when you compare it to these type of cleaning software. Also registry files are an important factor for the performance of the computer we definitely need arises strict legal so that we can clean up the unnecessary registry files which may be affecting the computer's performance and also the start of the computer

I usually free up my computer disk space by removing unnecessary program and by deleting empties folder. Before deleting any folders, please make sure that you have backup all the important documents in it. After that I defragment the files.
One more thing that I would like to share is that to put away all your working documents in another partition (let say partition D:) so that the computer would be more faster.
