the best response?

There's no specific given day or time to choose one from it, but what I knew from other users is, they try to wait for up to a week if they know that their discussions attract interest to most of the users. It also helps if you put a comment from time to time on each of the respondents, that you think gave a good input about your topic. In choosing so, just keep in mind that the one's you chosen really stands up from the rest. That way, helped the respondent give justice on their opinions. You can also rate each discussions, by positive(+) and negative(-) according on how you find their responses or even discussions. I don't think there is any time limit, though from what i've read, this helps you and the respondant.

It's not necesary to fix up some perticular time for resolving the discussions you started. But if you recieving good number of responses to your discussions then you should wait for some time I mean unless the responses stop for more to a week or so. I have eight pages to do of best responses lolbUT AS i AM POSTING LESS DISCUSSIONS AS i USED TO, i AM EVERY DAY NOW GOING THROUGH BETWEEN FIVE AND TEN discussions to resolve so within a week I SHOULD GET THEM ALL FINISHED AND UP TO DATE LOL. I WILL FROM THEN ON LEAVE THE DISCUSSION ONE WEEK TO GET RESPONSES THEN RESPOND TO IT WITH my BEST RESPONSE LOL. I THINK ONE WEEK IS ENOUGH TO SEE WHAT RESPONSE IS WORTH GIVING THE BEST ONE TOO LOL. I AM SO GAUXING TO BE BACK TOO!!!

I usually make my choice of who has answered my discussion within 3 maybe 4 days...It is important to rate the best response,it helps the ones that are responding to your post...it is just the right thing to do....for your friends....i always look over my answers and the one that i feel has made an effort to try and answer with a quality answer ,then I give them the best answer...I never choose the ones that just says "yes" or No" or i dont know,that is not a good answer....If you do not make a best response then I really don't know what will happen,but you are not being a very good friend or doing right if you fail to rate and pick the best response....

There is no set time to chose the best response. Do as you feel and if you forget nothing will happen. In the beginning when I joined mylot I didn't know this feature existed and then I read posts about unresolved discussions. I started resolving my own discussions but I'm not organized with it. When I have time I just go through the discussions that I feel will not have any more answers and I choose the best answer. Usually the best answer I pick up is the best that's more related in content or the longest one.

Don't worry, there is no time limit on when you have to choose your best response. Nothing will happen to you if you don't choose one right away. If you don't have a response that you are satisfied with, don't be afraid to wait a few more days, or a week, or even a bit longer until the replies stop coming in before choosing a best response. If you still have several responses coming in and don't have any that stand apart from the rest, you never know if a really great one might come in over the next day or two.

I usually wait before choosing a best response till a really good one shows up.Sometimes, I have had so many good responses that I didn't know which one to choose and which to leave out.That's why I wait a little more to make sure I give it enough time because many times just after choosing the best response a better one comes along. There is no fixed deadline within which to choose a best response ,but I think the Mylot earning algorithm is attached in some way to unresolving the discussions.
