Easy to keep alive flowers!

I am wanting some flowers to plant that are easily kept alive! I live in SouthEastern Oklahoma so the weather is pretty average. Not to hot, not too cold... Anything that doesn't require major watering, attention etc... All input is helpful.

The best thing you can do is ask at a local nursery, especially one that specializes in organic or native plants. They'll have great tips and hints. If there are local gardening clubs or associations you might look there too, as well as any area colleges that have agricultural or botanical programs.

Thanks for the tips! We have one very small nursery pretty close. I think I will try to get over there this upcoming week to check them out and ask a few questions!
