I dont think so.. I think it depends....Yes friendship is a good foundation of a happy couples it may result into a best lovers but i can still see best lovers that dont start as friends. I guess it depends how you guys devoted to each other and how you value your relationship.

friendship is a strong foundation for future romantic relationship. yes, i agree, but only if love, respect and faithfulness stay.

It depends. But I do agree that sometimes, good lovers start as best friends. That's because the relationship between best friends are very strong emotionally, and lovers could use that bond to build upon when they commit into a love relationship. It's very enlightening to see couples who treat each other as best friends. Those relationships could go on very long. Yet, sometimes, many lovers who started out as best friends would find that they're just more suitable being friends. This would happen if the chemistry between them don't work well.

i dont think all the cases are so....In that case we must accept the fact that marriages dont succeeed.....Well two strangers marry,they just come to know abt the other before they marry...But they hav a happy life.....

may be it is true....coz when 2 people become gud frnds they start likng each other and they can knw each other very well....so may be friendship can turn into luv...

I think it all depends on the situation. I think that the best lovers are someone who can communicate openly and consider your feelings at all times. So maybe this is true that best friends make good lovers. Something to think about that is for sure.
