this is my question ages ago.. is it really necessary especially for girls to quit smoking if their boyfriends are not smoking? should we stand in the saying that "you've got to love me for what i am, for simply being me" kinda thing? is it proper for boys to tell their girlfriends what to do with their bad habits? same as with the girls, do we have to tell our men to stop smoking? ideas guys..

Hahahaha! Can't help laughing when i read your topic. Of all topics, why this one? Hehe it hit me! Well, i've been smoking since i was 18 and im 40 now. So far a few of my past bf (when i was younger) were telling me to stop but i prefer to smoke than have them around haha! That is one of my probs. now coz i always think i can't have a boyfriend if he would only tell me to stop what i want. It's my body, if i don't wanna grow old then it's my decision. Stubborn me! hehehehe

I guess this depends on every peoples' mentality, if they know the bad causes of smoking then they know that they should stop it. As for me, I am a smoker too.. But I try to lessen it from time to time, as it is never easy to quit the vices that we are used on doing for a long time.
I think your b/f has good intentions on you, he cares for your health and because he loves you. It is now up to you to heed his advice or to continue what you think is right for you.
