That is very interesting. I have never heard of childless couple being referred to as DINKs. I think couples are entitled to make their own decisions whether or not to have children. Some couples might decide that they would like to pursue their careers rather than have children, but I don't think a childless couple could be called a complete family. I would call them a married couple but not a family.

hello its true that now a days couples are choosing not to have babiess,,,,its a foolish rather i can say a stupid idea,,,,how can one think like that,,,if their parents have also thought like them then they would not be existing in this world today ,,, AND what a life they will be living without a child???? without a kid the family isnt completee only a wife and a husband doesnot make a complete family,,,,,,a husband ,wife and a child with all their love towards eaach other makes a complete familyyyy,,,,, ITS TRUE THAT THE WORLD IS CHANGING DAY BY DAY AND THE VIEWS OF THE INDIVIDUALS R ALSO CHANGING BUTTTT THE VIEWS SHOULD BE IN FAVOUR OF DEVELOPMENT OF WORLD BUT NOT IN THIS ASPECT OF LOOSING OUR CULTURE AND HUMANITY WHICH WILL DESTROY THE PEACE OF THE NATION OR THE WORLD

I personally could not imagine my family being complete without my two boys. I do believe that people whom view children as burden and not a blessing should never concieve, as the child would suffer. My boys are my greatest joy and I love every minute of thier ives, even the sleepless nights and the sacrifices we make in order to give them good lives.

I actually have 2 uncles like that. The are both in their 40's and married. One of them can't have kids because of a childhood accident but they've never seemed too disappointed. And the other one and his wife just enjoy being able to travel whenever they want and have their expensive toys. I think it's everyones personal choice. People can be happy without kids. But it is a shame they are missing out on waking up every morning to a sweet little face to greet you and hug you. I couldn't imagine my life without my daughter. She just makes everything so complete with me.
