So who's going to die on LOST next week? I'm taking bets. Just kidding.

Desmond and Charlie from LOST. - Could Desmond or Charlie be the next LOST
survivor to die? We'll see on 3-28-07.

The most logical guess would be Charlie. He seems to be marked for death by Desmond's visions. I say however, that it might be Desmond. I hope I'm wrong but it could be that in one of his attempts to save Charlie, he in turn dies. You just never know. Anyone care to place your bets on the table? ‹(°¿°)›

I think it will be Charlie as well, atlthough that might be too obvious. Two points I thought of that I wanted to ask you your thoughts on. 1. Do you think the conman could possible be the original 'Sawyer', from Sawyer's childhood and 2. When Hurley was in the office building talking to his attorney about how bad things happened all around him (do you remember?) and then a body flew by the window, and he was like 'see!'... could that have been Locke falling when his 'dad' pushed him?

Yeah, I think it's too obvious as well. Those are good points you made. The first one is stretching it just a little. However, he could have been working small scams early in his "career." That one didn't cross my mind. The second doesn't fit. It's a good observation though. The guy's body was positioned wrong and I believe he had a suit on. You could be right, if so, the technical crew screwed up. It didn't look like the same fall. I'm going to have to go back and look when I get a chance. ‹(°¿°)›

Oh I do believe you could be right. That's why I said a "little." It's quite possible because we never did see his face. Your right, James did kill the wrong guy. I'm not going to venture much more of a guess only because I don't think we have any further clues right now. ‹(°¿°)›

I actually think the second is more of a stretch than the first... Now that you mention it, I think you're right about the suit. However, I think the first is a possibility. Locke's 'dad' has gone by a number of names, and if it turns out he was the Sawyer from Sawyers childhood, it would have been a good 25 years ago. I don't think they ever showed his face, and we know for sure Sawyer killed the wrong guy, right?

So, jumpinjack... what did you think of last night's episode??? I'm too torn to be able to form an opinion either way about Juliette... what I do know is that, regardless of how captivated I am with the new scenario on the beach, I am ready to find out about Locke and the conman... they've kept us hanging for three weeks now!

I knew last week she wasn't left behind. The Others are too smart to have left the handcuff key in her pocket. This week blew me away though! I about had a fit when Claire looked like she was going to die. That's when I put 2 & 2 together and realized that's why she was sent on her mission. Of course that was confirmed at the end of the episode. It was great to see more about Juliette's involvement with the company and her fellow "employees?" I've said it and I'll say it again. These people have nothing to do with the Dharma Initiative. Or, the initiative is simply a cover for these people and this company. Jack, Jack, Jack. Talk about falling for your captor. Boy has he been blinded by his crush. 5 episodes left this season and it looks like it keeps heating up. ‹(°¿°)›

I was going off on Juliette's story so much I forgot about my buddy Locke. Hopefully we'll find out next week what happened to the con man. I have no clue to be honest with you. I do think Locke has ulterior motives for going off with the Others. I know he wants to stay on the island but I really don't think he's taken in by them. He's always got his own agenda, no matter what else is going on. ‹(°¿°)›

That's exactly why I like Locke, because he is a free thinker. I don't think Juliette will cross Ben, at least not yet. She desperately wants to get home and we don't know for sure that the Others have been cut off from their company on the mainland. Besides, she knows that they can track her sister if they want to. Know what I mean? Like you said, I'm sure there's other ways off the island. If they are cut off, I'm sure we'll have people from the company wondering what happened. They have previews on abc.com that you can watch. Our buddy Locke is involved again next week. We also seem to have visitors to the island. It doesn't show anyone or thing but everyone looks pretty well shocked, if not in a panic as well. I saw what you saw in regards to Kate and Sun and it crossed my mind as well. There wasn't a scene to give us any idea that Sun lost the baby. So I'd say Sun "may" have a problem in the future. The reason I say "may" is because of the one of two ways she might have become pregnant. If she is pregnant as a result of cheating on Jin, I say she may have a problem soon. If she's pregnant because the island made Jin fertile, then I'd say no problem. ‹(°¿°)›

I think Desmond dying is a pretty good guess. That would account for Sun yelling at Sawyer about having to dig another grave in the preview. If they all find out the Desmond is saving Charlie, and Desmond is gone it could mean potentially Charlie is next. Also, some great observations about Locke's father being the origional "Sawyer" I hadn't thoguht of that. But given how all the character's lives seem to intersect, it seems a possibility. And now I also want to go back and check that Hurely episode with the guy falling out the window. That does seem an interesting coincidence. But yeah, I can't remember what the falling guy was wearing. We do know that Hurely owned the box company that Lock used to work at right?

Yeah, there's a good possibility it could be Desmond but I hope not for a reason. I'm curious as to the connection Penny has to the men in the Arctic station who are there primarily to witness and I suppose study those strange electromagnetic anomalies. I think astromama hit the head on the nail with the original Sawyer being the con man as well. That didn't cross my mind either. Hurley did own the box company that Locke worked for.

Hmmmmm? That is really odd. Especially considering it's a U.S. show. That's cool though if they're showing it first down under. After all, that's where Oceanic flight 815 originated from. Telling wouldn't be fair. You'd win the money for sure, ARGH. ‹(°¿°)›

I think you're confused :) Australia is way behind the US, by about 10 episodes
