here is one very simple but tasty recipe:
6 eggs 300ml.
margarine 300 grams(hydrogenated vegetable fat)
sugar 300 grams
flour 275 grams
baking powder 5 grams
diced candied cherry 25 grams
vanilla essence 2 ml.
high fat cocoa powder 50 grams
milk to adjust batter
process:
beat eggs and sugar fluffy in a spindle blender or a hand blender.
add margarine. beat it to even fluid.
add essence
sift flour thrice with baking powder.
fold in the flour with a rubber spatula.
fold in cocoa powder.
garnish with diced fruits rolled in flour
grease cake mold or pan.
set electric or lpg oven at 180 degrees celcius.
attain temperature.
adjust batter to drip consistency by adding milk while folding with rubber spatula.
bake for approximately 25 minutes.(peep inside after 15 minutes.) each oven behaves differently so you have to have a hang of it.
you can pierce a knife to see whether the cake is baked. if the knife comes out dry without batter, the cake is done.
after taking the mold out invert it for a few minutes so that the cake doesn't stick to the mold. it also absorbs the extra moisture which would otherwise go out as steam.
you can also keep a metal utensil containing water to avoid charring.
thats it! please your mom!
microwaves are not meant for baking cookies cakes and bread.
