When You see someone in pain. What do you feel?

Hi,
Yesterday, due to illness of my friend, i have to visit Hospital. Where I saw a lots of people in pain due to different problems. My friend is injured due to accident. After meeting with my friend I visited the other patients in ward. I saw a child, whose leg was broken due to accident of school van. He is crying with pain and I am feeling his pain in my heart. This is only an experience which I am sharing here on mylot.

It depends on who I am seeing in pain. If it was my daughter, I would feel all torn up inside. I would be unable to relax at night, or anytime.

I would feel the same thing you felt. It's so difficult for me to see other people's suffering and i am unable to do anything about it. I have the tendency to imagine myself in the same situation, and my heart aches too much.
