Do add comment to all the responses? Is it necessary to add comment?

I would like to add comment to all the response i get for my discussion, but sometimes due to the shortage of time, i cannot add comment to many response. Iam really quilty of this, i read all the responses, but cannot add comment.I would like to know from you all that do you add comment to all the responses? is it necessary to add?

You are supposed to add a comment where it's especially expected by the responding user and not necessary to reply everybody saying just as nice thought, excellent response or thanks for the response like comments just a waste of time I think and mylot too doesn't expect this from you.
As this is perticularly mentioned in the FAQ.

it is nice that you put back your comments on the responses you receive. theres nothing to feel guilty about if you are unable to comment on all responses. its just fine keep going. even i try and add my comments to all responses but miss few while attending on other posts. best thing to do is to keep the notify on in your friends list and yahoo messenger logged in so that you know whenever you receive a response, so that you can comment depending on availability of time.
