Does distance love survive ?

I am in delima what to do. One of my fren has just come from her country of origin to america. She left her boyfren there and now she is alone out here. She is just in confussion what to do with her boyfren. Do she need to ditch him or continue the relationship. Coz she says the distance between them has really made her sick and now she doesn't want to think about him more and concontrate on other things. I don't know what to suggest her. Can anybody make my job easier ?
