Which monitor do you have? CRT? LCD? TFT?

We had CRT monitors in our house, because it's cheaper and I am more familiar operating and maintaining it. LCD and TFT monitors doesn't give any difference for me in case of performance but only in the physical aspect.

I use an LCD monitor because my desk has a glass top. I like that it is thin and lightweight, but I think that CRT monitors produce a more attractive display.

I have a CRT, cos it was very cheap than the other 2...

Hi all, my monitor is also a CRT one, puchase 3 years ago but now it is still working well. When I purchased my computer, the LCD is so expensive for me to afford, so I choose a 17 inches CRT one, it is made by sumsung, a Korean company. Now the LCD ones are not as expensive as they were 3 years ago, so I want to option to a LCD one, because the LCD monitors are less harmful to our eyes and have a wider sight-border.

as of now i just have a CRT but im gonna move on to LCD later, even though it has a higher price, i still choose it due to its lower power requirements. usually half of the same size CRT in power consumption.

LCD all the way. More affordable than the higher resolution formats, but still very sharp image compared to CRT and available as a flat-screen to save space on my desk. I have a flat wide-screen LCD monitor at home, because of a sharper image, the wide-screen because I watch movies, and to clear space on my small computer desk. At work a smaller flat LCD due to less glare (I work at a computer 8 hours most days) to save my eyes.

Now I am using Laptop. First of all I was using CRT Monitor but I was not so happy, rather I was not able to afford LCD Monitor. After some time my friend bought two new LCD Monitors one of SONY and another of LG. I was please to work with LCD Monitors. First of all I was facing stress to work for 8 hours. My eyes were paining but working in LCD Monitors I did not face any more problems in my eye sight. Hence from this I found that LCD Monitors are worth and it saves one of the important part of our body i.e. EYES. Without eyes one will not be able to use the computer, Hence I would suggest that if money does not matter, Please buy a LCD Monitor. It will help you a LOT in decreasing stress. It will also help in your vision. You will be much more relaxed while using LCD Monitors.
