How do i cook a mean carbonara?

I have been eating carbonara prepared by other individuals my whole life. I just wanted to know if anyone could help me make my first one. I want to satisfy my family and friends, without them knowing that its my first time to cook carbonara. What are the ingredients and procedure for this dish. Please please please help me, i said it will be in the menu of my party next month. thanks.
