That Buddha is also called Buddha Meytreye and Amitabha (this latter one I think among a certain branch of Buddhism.)
BUDDHISTS!!!! AT MY LOT PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS PERSONAGE STANDS FOR IN YOUR OPINION AND OR WHAT THE SCRIPTS SAY.
His name shall be "friendly". Amitabha shall come from the western paradise. Do you believe it is the same Personage?
Now tell me about your views. I do have a view too, but how do you look upon these old sayings today.

Buddha never mentioned a Buddha Meytreye, it is a later invention which people attribute to the Buddha. The Buddha never made predictions.
Amitabha is an invention of a monk from Tibet and has little to do with the teaching of the Buddha.
