Will you donate your organs?

When you die, do you want your organs to be donated? Why, or why not? And would you donate all of them, or are there some that they can't have? And is it alright if they go to science, or only to help people who need them?

I will donate my organs because I think its a very good thing for people to do. Its easy and its something that can save lives. I personally am thankful for the donated parts I have inside me, and I can see that people need organs donated.

I wouldn´t mind donating my organs. It isn´t like I am going to be using them myself! I would prefer that they go to people who need them, simply because there tends to be a shortage of organ donors in the world, but if there was no pressing need, I wouldn´t care if they went to science.

I never thought about it until now. Thanks for this discussion. I would donate all my organs. I wouldn't want them to go towards research though. I don't think I'd like the idea of handfuls of people poking around on my inners. I guess if I've got an organ no one wants or needs, it could go to science but I'd rather they go to somebody who really needs them. I've really got to sit down and think this one out and put it into writing. Thanks again for the discussion.
