Turtles in a half-shell... Turtle Power!

I don't know about everyone else, but I am excited today cause TNMT (or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is coming out to theaters today. I wish I could check it out tonight, but I already have plans to visit a friend, but I will be seeing a show tomorrow night. Is anyone else as excited about TNMT as I am? It seems as though this really gets the movie season kicked off for me. I wanted to see '300' and 'I Think I Love My Wife' but didn't get a chance to go... now, with TNMT, I will definitely get a chance to start my movie watching for the summer/blockbuster season...

OMG ! I didn't realize that it was comming out this weekend ! that's awsome ! Even though I am a girl ..I LOVE TNMT! Ninga turtles ROCKS ! It really makes me smile just thinking about it ! It reminds me so much of my childhood its incredible ! Oh by the way, I saw 300, it was amazing ! On top of that, in the city I live in, Monreal, they offer to go see it in IMAX theater it was incredible ! I absolutly recommend it to you!

Thanks for the response! It's great that you love TNMT, too! I think that it's going to be awesome. I was a bit wary at first hearing that it would be cel shaded animation, but I think I can manage. It reminds me of my childhood, too... and another '300' recommendation, huh? A lot of my friends have told me good things about it. It sounds like the perfect movie with the comic book elements and the special effects to put on an IMAX!

I rarely pay extra to see movies on Imax but this time I just couldn't help it ! It was really a good movie ! Very exciting ..the special effects where incredible and so were the acting ..The only bad comment Ive heard was about the story but I mean what did they really expect? Else than going to battle and to fight ...for sure the story isn't grand and thoughtfull but I mean its a war movie. Go see it soon! lol I am temping you know huh? Now you just can't wait to see that movie also!? hu? lol

I really do want to see it... hahaha I wonder if the IMAX here is showing it... You know, the one thing I wonder about is whether or not this is historically accurate, mythologically accurate, or just a story. I am a bit of a history buff and would like to have something artful but accurate historically. I had issues with movies like Alexander because of this... but I think I might take the time to see 2 movies this weekend... thanks for the recommendation.
