Do you believe in the saying "If u have the figure...flaunt it...."

this in relation to people or ccountries who object on the " miss world" & " miss universe" paegent being conducted.whats wrong to be proud and in display of ones beauty...but a sense of professionalism.

I do believe in the 'god gave me a gift and I will flaunt it if I choose'. And I do in some ways. But the difference is that I am not saying 'i am better than you' by flaunting my body in a competition. because that is what the miss world pagents are about. My body is better than yours. What does that teach our children? If your body is not as good as the winner, it's no good at all?

but this competition will exisit in all the phases of life......be it in exams, sports, or in any other competitions.......does it mean that if u loose in any sport..that u r not fit for that sport????....the children should be taught to accept defeat in a positive manner..rather than to get depressed my it....the same is for the miis world paegents...its just and competition...y cant people accept it???

Because its a compatition based on beauty and unless you underego plastic surgery, you can't get better at it. You can get better at sports by training and hard work. Failure is only a reason to work harder and to get better. You can't do that for the Miss universe pagents. You either have it or you don't. Not true with sport or any math competition. I can't play chess but if I worked hard enough and studied one day I could maybe compete. Not so with pagents unless I see a doctor.

Im 40 and turning 41 on June but a lot of people say i look 33 yrs old. I happen to be blessed w/ curves and since i plated soccer and volleyball for more than 15 yrs i can say that it's all worth saving the muscles hehehehe. It's really not flaunting it when u have curves, it's just your way of showing that you're blessed and it lifts an individuals self-esteem whenever u make heads turn. For as long as you stay decent in every manner, you will always look good and better thatn the rest. Confidence i think is the keyword to that.

the same thing relates with these miss world" and "miss universe "paegents......yes..the here its not only the matter of physical beauty but also the brains....because its also their intellect which is judged in these competitions. then y do people object on these paegents being organised???
