does friday have a special feel?

Friday is .....Ahhhhh, the weekends here, no homework to help with, no school lunches to make for 2 days, no alarm clocks, hooray, just two days to do what I need to do at my own pace, when I want to. No rules or clocks to folow, lol.

At various times in my life each of the days have a special feel to them, Though I still have hold over from younger days of not wanting to be out or do anything on Sunday nights in anticipation of Mondays and the week beginning I didn't realize this until someone pointed it out to me. Fridays are special for some because they are the end of the week, there is a feeling of anticipation of the weekend to them but sometimes there is a dragging feeling to them because of a tired long week. it can vary depending on the cycles in our lives. I at this time look forward to Friday nights, and Sundays but not always. For a friend of mine, Tues, are a day to be dreaded because of a commitment after work which means getting home changing cloths and going right back out, and not getting home until 2 am. Which is rough because this person works all week long and their only day off is Wednesday. So there is also a feeling of thank goodness it is Tuesday so I have the day off tomorrow. So they feel about Tues. they way many do on Frid.

Fridays always used to mean going out with my mates. Usually up to the pub, then onto a club, and back in the early hours of the morning. Oh those were the days *sigh*
