I believe Mexico should have built a wall around Texas to prevent the USA from stealing that from them in the first place.

I never really though of it that way. Kind've funny though. USA really didnt steal Texas from Mexico. The citizen of Texas or Tejanos fought for their freedom from Mexico and won in around 1836. Then later in 1845 they decision was made, Texas joined the United States.

I got the impression that the Mexicans were there first. The Indians who inhabited Texas before whites arrived were Mexican Indians, right. I know the history books put it differently but I suspect foul play on the part of my race.
Thanks though, for your response.

Logically speaking, I think anyone who supports having fences enclose their private property should likewise be in favor of having national border fences erected as well.

I agree with private property fences but not with this kind of fence. If they want to enclose the nation well, I think that they should put a fence around the whole United States because Mexico is no the only place where immigrants come in from and Mexicans are not the only illegal immigrant in the U.S. I feel that if they only put a fence on the border of Mexico and the U.S. then they are discriminating and isnt discrimination agains the law????

Yeah I know what you mean and hate those kind of people but you cant punish all of them because of a few that do that. There are a lot of people who do that and they are U.S. citizen, but I guess that is okay because they are citizens of The United States, right? There are alot of Mexicans that do come here and repect the law and everyone here. I hope that someday you get to meet someone like that. If the U.S. feels that way about Mexicans then why do they still hire illegal immigrants to do their dirty jobs, all they have to do is get off their a**es and do it themselves. Dont forget that Mexicans are no the only immigrants that do those kind of things, dont discriminate against only one race.

Yes, I think the border fence is a start to help bring illegal immigration under control. Will it fix the entire illegal immigration problem, No. We need to take back our border and make everyone accountable. We have laws regarding our borders and we need to enforce them. Please check out my discussion regarding illegal immigration and respond accordingly if you would please.

I really wonder what U.S. citizens are going to do w/out illegal immigrants here. They do the dirty work that people from here don’t like to do. They also get paid very little for it. I think that if the U.S. is going to put a border fence then U.S. citizens should not be allowed to go to Mexico either. I think that U.S. citizens should have to go through the same paper work to go to Mexico the way Mexicans do to come here. And don’t tell me that U.S. citizens have nothing to do in Mexico because I have see tour buses full of us in Mexico. Oh and before I forget, guess who are the people that are going to make the border fence?

There needs o be alot more than a big concrete fence to stop illegal immigration. There needs to be serious punishment for it, stop all funding of any kind for all illegals, huge fines for anyone caught employing them, etc.

Now that the US , has there hand in building the fence it will never get done. There are many groups working on the fence project gettting far. We need something done, not to sure if a fence is the correct answer.
