in 6 months, when i turn 18, i am leaving the stability of a home and a job, and i am going to travel the country for a few months. going to see people i haven't seen in a long time that now live in places i have never been to.
i think the answer to this differs based on where you are at in life, but i NEVER want to get to the point where i am unable to do and experience places and things i want to experience because i am tied down by debt and outrageous bills, etc.
i would be willing to give up the lifestyle i have right now in a second to go out and experience the things i want to experience if i could. currently i am tied down by the fact that i am 17 with a high level of maturity and independence and a father who doesnt trust me. as SOON as the clock strikes midnight and i am 18 though, i am out of here with a bus ticket and a backpack and no plan of where i might end up.
and i have never been more excited for anything in my life.

I chose spending more time with my son over making as much money. We have had to cut down on expenses a great deal, but it is worth it when I am there for the important moments in his life. Sometimes it hard though, when all the bills are coming in and you're trying to figure out if you have enough money to pay for them all. Thanks to the internet I'm able to make some extra money while still being at home with him.

If I didn't have a wife and two kids relying on me for food and a roof, I would. I look back now and can't believe I was afraid to go for it when I was single - there was nothing to lose! Now people would suffer if I didnt' immediately succeed, so I have to try and do both simultaneously.
