right now this is my favorite anime been wating for episode every week. for people who like some mystery this anime will surely make you think.... this anime is a about a note book which owns by death gods, when a person's name is written in this notebook while the writer thinks of that person's face, the person will die after 40 seconds by heart attack, the writer can also write a scene on how the person will die. the story begun when a shinigami is bored in his life drop his note in the human world, a law student who thinks the world is rotten because of so many criminals and victims who dont get theuir justice, this student pick the note and start to kill those criminals and he tried to create a new world of peace. the a famous detective called L tried to uncover the mystery of those dying criminals.........
