OK. This might be something silly to some of you here, but I just wanted to know if there are some people who seem to be like me when it comes to changing the bed sheets and all those stuffs on my bed... :P
well, when I was still staying with my parents in the province, I used to change my pillow cases and blankets when my mom asked me to change my bed sheets... but now that am staying alone with my brother, I change them one at a time.. lol I just don't feel like doing lots of laundry at a time... washing my bed sheets would cost me lots of energy coz it's pretty heavy, and if I change my blankets and pillow cases at the same time..that would be like an uphill climb..lol
so what I usually do when it's time to change those stuffs, I go first with the bedsheets..then the next couple of days, I'll have my blankets and pillow cases changed and washed.. then lastly my window curtains.. that way it's not so big of a burden to spend hours doing the heavy laundry for me.. :P
how about you, do you do the same? or you change your bed sheets, blankets, and pillow cases all at ones? do you wash them the same day you took them off your bed? or you wait for another day when you feel like doing the laundry?
do share your thoughts... :P

yes i do change my pillow cases, blankets and bedsheets at the same time coz they are matchy-matchy and i hate to see my bedsheet not matching my pillow cases :), i change them every week, two weeks the most.. but i dont wash them right away.. if its my laundry day, fine i would, but if its not, it will sit there in the laundry basket for a while :)

I usually change my pillow cases and blankets too when I change my bed sheets but not really at all cases. Say for example, I have just changed my pillow cases and beddings the other day. Then today, my bed sheet was stained due to some reasons. So it's only the bed sheets that i'll be changing. Like you, I'm quite lazy in doing our laundry.
When my beddings are put on the laundry basket, like you, I don't wash them out directly. Besides I still have more beddings in my closet if I wanna replace my beddings. I only wash those beddings when I don't have any bedding s at my closer anymore. :)

Well when we change the bed sheets, yes we change the pillow cases as well. But we do not change the blankets not in the summer as we do not use them, but in the winter season or cooler weather yes I change these every couple of months and give them a good clean and put other fresh blankets on the bed.

I change EVERYTHING! i really wouldn't feel go at all if I just changed my pillow cases and not my sheets. I mean what's the purpose of changing one and not the other. If anything, you should definitely change the sheets and leave the pillow cases. The sheets get the full impact of your body (body fluids, odor etc).

I dont really have a time frame on when to change my beddings. Sometimes ones in two weeks. It depends . I change all my beddings, from the blankets to the pillowcases together cause when i change i want them all clean. And i want the clean smell of new beddings. But i dont wash them together i just fold them and wait for the time that i will have the energy to wash them, sometimes i wash the pillow cases, then the blankets next time. I dont change curtains so often, maybe ones in a month, anyway they dont get as dirty as the blankets.

I usually change the beddings at the same time. The fitted, the blanket or comforter, and the pillow cases. I want it to be a set. I'm not comfortable if I'm not having the same kind/design of my beddings at once... I'm not the one who do the laundry that'w why I cannot consider about that matter.

I usually change the bed sheets, pillow cases all at the same time... But may not wash them immediately. Depend on the current to-be washed clothes load. I'm not so hardworking so only change once a month.. :-P

Well I am the type that once I change one thing on my bed I have to change everything else. I'm just a bneat freak like that. I don't think thats weird or silly. I have to wash everything all on the same day so when its time to go to bed I am in nice clean bed.

I change them all in the same time all of it from bed sheets to pillow cases up to dust cover sheet. I love it when my sheets smeel good the only probelm with me is that I don't fold them when I get up but its fine with me as long as it smell good. I do wash them at a time when I on the schedule to wash them. I use washing machine so it would not makse such a big burden to me.

It's one of those rules I have in the house. If we are going to change a sheet on the bed, then we might as well change them all cause it'll probably be good that everything remains fresh for us.
I usually just place those used sheets in the laundry hamper and wait until the next time I do laundry to wash them.

I do the sheets & pillowcases & light blankets about once a week. The comforter gets done every couple of washes, unless I know that I'll have time to dry it that day. It takes 2 cycles through the dryer, so I have to plan for that.

well, i am a lazy bum and i hate doing laundry frequently. i wash my clothes depending upon the requirement.like i wash my clothes that i wera at office daily. that i ahve to. but heavy clothes like blankets, bedsheets..umm i think i change them if i think they are quite soiled. its not necessary that i need to wash my pillow covers and change them together with the bedsheet. if they are not soiled, i don't change them at the same time.

I do it all at once. Four beds lol. Three singles and a Queen sized.
It takes up two washers in the laundry room in our apartment building, but I do it on a Wednesday as there's usually nobody using the washers and dryers, and then I do regular clothes laundry on a Thursday.
I used to do laundry on a Sunday, but found it was crazy impossible to get a dryer without waiting forever, and so I experimented to find the quietest days.
Now I know, I can get on with washing and drying, and folding an extraordinary amount of sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers and valances lol.
