For me id prefer to enrol my kid in a private school. I graduated from a private school and I believe that the education is far better than public schools. But as they say, it's not in the school it's in the ability of your kid.

If my children will grow up in thyis country they will go to a public school, for the simple reason that there are no private schools available...

We homeschool and that is what we prefer. I know my kids better and have there best interests at heart better than any teacher could do. We have school year round and can take time when we wish to do other things or in case of illness. Private schools would be good even if someone cannot homeschool for any reason. Better teacher to student ratio.

Public schools are better. They allow kids to actually have friends, and the best thing is that most public schools don't have uniforms.

I attended both kids of school, public for elementary and junior high, but private for high school. For me, I think it depends on the personality of the child, but I prefer private schools. A lot of times, those school have smaller classrooms and more attention on individual student's needs. Teachers are also paid better at those schools so you are less concerned about strikes and labor disputes as you might be with public schools. There are advantages in public school. If you have a child who can handle the atmosphere, then it wouldn't be a problem to have them go to a public school. They can make a lot of friends and participate in a lot of after-school activities. I still like private schools a bit better, mainly for the quality of curriculum and the structure that they provide.

Private schools are much better, because they have the best teachers that can provide the students the best education they can get. The discpline is hard, and the kids are getting better that public school where every kid can be accepted to school.

I would always go for the public school. I feel that education should be one of the responsibilities for the state or government. I think that all children are entitled to the same education. Public education ensures that all children are given the same rights regardless of their parents econonmic status. I do not think it is a good thing that your family economi gives you access to better posibilities than other people.
