its the mylot reputation scale, 1 to 10 with ten being the highest. It is determined by the nuber of plusses your discussions get

Yep the higher the number, the better. It's based on how people here at MyLot rate you. If you give good responses and start good discussions, people are likely to give you a +.

Yes, it's good to have a high number in the star not in terms of earning but in terms of reputation here at myLot. This means that many members are giving you pluses. In my experience here, I steadily rose from 5 to 9 without sliding back lower. I just stopped at 9 and would love to have a 10. I don't know how I would be able to get a 10, then one day, I got an alert from myLot, indicating that it's best to have referrals. I just thought that that's the only thing that's missing, because I've noticed that those with a 10-star rating have referrals. I don't know..just a thought. Happy myLotting!

I heard it was a good thing to get a higher number. I'm not quite sure who decides what number you should get or how you get above 9. Ive been at 9 a while.

90 out of 100 is good to me. Looks like a low A if it was like being graded in school. lol Actually, the higher it is, the better. :)
