I usually turn to God, first. I know that he will always be there, even though my husband may not. He understands the whole story, not just the side of the ones I am in trouble with, and He will always be willing to help me, even when I am in the wrong. Not help me necessarily to get out of the trouble, but help me to make it right again.

I really agree with you. People should start turning to God more for their problems, I suppose it's just a natural instinct to want to tell the person that you feel is closest to you, but that's not really the right thing to do, turn to God first, then your close friend or partner.

1 thing i've learned the hard way is putting God to the top of my list. next are the people you consider close friends(parents, siblings, co-workers also fall in this category!)--for him/her to pray for you since he/she can't really do anything much, unless he/she is a superhero, but even they can't fix every kind of trouble. ;o)

Well I go to my best friend which is my wife. Being able to share problems with her helps me solve the problem either from her listening to me or suggestions that she makes. Likewise, when she has a problem or feels in trouble she shares it with me and together we work things out. It is comforting to know that you have someone to share with. Its nice!

I used to run to my husband too..but we're having some trouble and he has not been around lately(thus the trouble.) I now tell things to my cat or to a select group of girlfriends who have been there for me. I really have no one to tell everything too anymore - it makes me sad. I'm glad you have your husband around to be there for you.

For me it's always been my sister. She's my confidant! And the same goes for me with her! We tell each other everything good or bad!

I have a very close friend of mine in particular that I can go and talk to about anything. I've known her for about 12 years, we've talked about everything, and even been through alot together. Sometimes I think she might even know me better than I know myself. (I might be exaggerating a bit there, but you get the idea). So I'll to and talk to her about anything and know for sure it'll stay between us no matter what.
