camera shy or camera addict??

which are you? There are people who are camera shy and there are also people who loves to pose in front of the camera. Because of friendster and other websites that you can upload photos like in multiply you can upoad unlimited photos. People are encouraged to take pictures of themselves while others remain shy.. But there are camera shy people who are beginning to overcome their shyness because they've decided to put their real pictures in friendster and not pictures of celebrities.

When I was younger and still single, I think I was a camera addict because I go to a studio to have my glamour shots taken all the time. I got tons of pictures and spent so much but then, I got memories of it now and I was like, wow, certainly not airbrush but I do look good...=)
10 years forward, 2 babies soon and gaining a few pounds...I am camera shy already...lol. Joking aside, I rather take pictures of my baby or my husband. I am the one who welds the camera all the time. And my husband is not the type who likes to take pictures, then nobody takes my pictures. I am teaching my toddler how to use the digital cam so I can update my photos..hahaha.

I was laughing while reading your reply. I used to go to the studio to have a glamour shot but now i'm not so into it. But teenagers like those stuff. I don't often go to studios anymore since i prefer taking pictures from my phone and from my friends' digital camera. I love taking photos so that I'll be laughing and maybe crying looking at my pics when I get older haha. When you're a mom you'd love to take pictures of your baby at almost every move hhhehhe. How old is your daughter again? If she knows how to use the digicam now.. then Wow! most parents would not let small children touch their digicam because their expensive nad the child might destroy the cam.

mwahaha!! haloosh dawnya...hmmm..me? i've become such a narcissistic person that i actually like getting my pic taken (that is if i'm in the mood to do so...) otherwise, i'd probably be that person holding the camera A.K.A the one taking the shots... hey, but once in a while i'd like to actually be in the pictur..otherwise what would i use for my friendster profile?

Well, I am none of these. I won't be shy in front of a camera but I prefer someone take a snap without prior intimation so that it would come out more natural way. I am not an addict to be in front of a camera. But I always wanted to be behind a camera. Photography is a fascination for me.

Well, I have to say, I have improved since my 4yr old son was born. I've had that many photos of him and myself taken that now, I don't really care about the camera. Before though, as soon as I saw a camera coming out, I'd bolt for the nearest chair to hide behind,lol! At least now, the camera comes out mainly just for my 4yr old, who's very photogenic!

I actually love it now, and it is really amazing just how many photos we have accumulated in 4 years. We have lots enlarged and framed, and my son has always got a big smile on his face. I think by the time he is 18, I'll have needed to build on another room, just for all the photo albums,lol!

I am normally a camera shy person who hates to be in front of camera most of the time and find excuses to be off it in anyway but i love to be behind the camera and love to shoot pictures of people (what an irony). I don't know how i developed this aversion but I have been this way quite some time and could not change.

hehehhe.. I have to respond to this discussion!! I just read this, I'm sorry. I must say I am the camera addict! LoL! If you can only see my cellphone, my album, my friendster.. etc.. you will find lots of me! and take note! solo! LoL! I just love posing infront of the camera, it's one way of releasing my tensions and i think it's good to have a remembrance of your everyday life.. It's like a diary to me already. :)

that's so nice of you.. taking effort on being behind the camera but you know it's not good when you're camera shy. it's nice when you're balanced. When you love to take pictures of others and yourself.. you don't need to be a camera addict but atleast not a cam shy.

I'm a photographer, so naturally I prefer to be behind the camera than in front of it. However, when I got to university I had to do two modules based on the self-portrait! I wasn't particularly camera-shy in the first place, but learning about how to hold myself properly in a portrait has made me even more of an extrovert. All the photos on my Facebook are of me wasted! x

I find myself being a camera addict lately, I just got a new camera thats to blame for that. I found out that looked good on camera and i've gone crazy, well my husband has at least. I think that photography is very healthy and fun for everyone to get into, being shy there's just no reason for it. If you keep the photo's close to you, and or you don't print them. You should never be embarrassed to be yourself, and to look good in a photo.

I am a certified camera addict! My friends always kidded me for that. Every time there's a gathering, they would always say "hey jing! picture-picture!" And they are even expecting me to have a digicam always by my side.
My friendster sure has a lot of photos in it, as well as my blog. Haha. I love taking pictures on just about every thing and any thing, from the beautiful sunsets to my pencil holder! Haha! That's why my friends named me as camera addict. Oh, I just love pictures so much!!! hehehe.

There are many people like you but there are more cam addicts.. you should loosen up a bit and fell good about your self so you will have the idea of taking a picture of yourself..
