What do you think about the quality of movies nowdays?

I cant remember when the last a movie really satisfied me. I think Lords of the Ring trilogy were the last few. I remembered the kick I got from Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Exorcist, Poltergeist, Sleepless in Seattle but nothing recent.
What does that say about the quality of movies now? Is it because of all the CGI?

What is CGI?
I am horrified by the amount of horror and torture movies out there nowadays. Like Saw and the Hills have Eyes part 2. It scares me. Where is our humanity?

its not like that even today also they are having good releases on the screen....the Apocalypto,300,Beerfest,Borat,are very good movies to see then Naked Mile ,is also a ice comedy ....its joy to see all these kind of movies now a days rather than Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies actually now a days more classes movies are commin as the thinking of the public and the isuues changes the enario changes...and we need to accept and appriciate the new concepts to have more entertain.......................cheers
