You may say I am too old fashioned but I really am against making movies of books specially the well written ones. There is no way a movie can capture the essence of the book. Be it Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings or Da Vinci Code.. none of them comes anywhere near the thrill of reading the book. Even a Tom Hanks could not keep me in the seat for the full couple of hours.. Even his much acclaimed Forrest Gump didnt meet the standards the book did.
The thrill you get by imagining things while reading is no way matched by the movie.
