how many times should a person scan their computer for viruses? and why?

every morning everytime you start your computer in the morning, download new updates for your anti virus.

my updates always show up every 3 days for my computer for download

you should scan for viruses at least once a week specially you are connected to the internet. because you never know when a virus struck your computer.so to be safe scan it atleast once a week
